water crisis continues…

Although the NMBM JOC Centre confirmed that the entire Metro would have water last night, the crisis is not resolved and residents for the most part are still sitting without water. In Summerstrand, 2 reservoirs are supplying Summerstrand, one of which is for the bottom part along Marine Drive (water is running well) and the other which is currently struggling to supply water, affecting the top area of Summerstrand above Brighton Drive, including Gomery Area, and above Strandfontein Rd.

Information conveyed from our counsellors:
– There will be a water-tank truck at the Mercado Centre – Summerbreezz Spar
